Melia was a nymph of the ash tree — one of the first beings to emerge from the earth itself, born from the drops of blood that fell when Uranus was wounded and met the soil. She was ancient before the gods were young.
Her name means "ash tree" or "honey" — she was both the tree that stands through storms and the sweetness hidden inside it. The Greeks believed the ash was the first tree, the axis around which the world turned.
A sprig, hand carved with leaves reaching outward and a bud still gathering itself before bloom.
May it remind you that the most enduring things grow slowly, and hold their sweetness within.
